This site never contacts anyone first. A message that claims to come from us and asks for details or money is a scam — please report it to us.

Confirmed errors are fixed and the page's Updated date is moved, as described in the editorial policy. Corrections are never made silently.
This site is not SASSA
We cannot look up your status, fix a decline, release a payment or update your details. Only SASSA can. Use the official channels below, and never share your ID number, banking details or SMS codes with anyone else who claims they can help.

Email us with "POPIA request" in the subject and say what you would like: to know what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to it being used. Requests are free and answered within 30 days. Because the site has no accounts or forms, it usually holds nothing more than an email you sent. Details are in the privacy policy.
