Every page on this site is written and checked by a named person, built from official SASSA and government sources, dated honestly, and never shaped by advertising. When something is wrong, it is corrected and the correction is visible. This page explains each of those commitments in detail.
Everything here is written by Muhammad Zaid, who also builds and maintains the site. There is no content farm and no anonymous contributors. Writing tools may help with drafting and structure, but every fact, figure and date is checked by a person before it is published, and a person is accountable for it afterwards.
Pages are written to answer questions people actually ask — the exact wording of a SASSA status, a decline reason nobody explains, a payment that has not arrived. Search demand tells us which questions are common; reader messages tell us which ones are causing the most distress. A topic is published only when it can be answered completely. Partial pages and placeholders are not published; planned topics are listed on what we cover instead.
Grant amounts, income thresholds, deadlines and procedures come from primary sources only: SASSA's own websites, the SRD portal, the Department of Social Development, and the Government Gazette. Secondary sources — news reports, other websites, social media — are used to find out what people are asking, never as the basis for a fact. Where a value cannot be confirmed against an official source, the page says so plainly rather than guessing.
If you find an error, tell us. Reports are checked against the primary source, and a confirmed error is fixed on the page with the Updated date moved to the day of the fix. Where the error could have misled someone about money or a deadline, a short note is added to the page saying what changed. We would rather publish a correction than hide one.
No. The site is funded by advertising served by Google, and the adverts are chosen by Google's systems, not by us. No advertiser sees content before it is published, no page exists to promote a product, and there is no sponsored or paid content. Adverts are labelled and are placed only after the main content of a page has started, never above it.
